They walked down the green path
No one was talking but somehow the silence was comfortable
The birds greeted them and the swishing sound of the nearby waterfall made them smile
They were strangers who were displaced at at time,
where no one was awake and the world had fallen into a deep slumber
They were strangers who do not understand each other
but one has a deep longing
A longing that she knows can never be reality
When one opens up to speak, the other would listen, attentively
Although they were strangers, they talked as if they'd known each other for years
It was serene and the view had made them comfortable
ranting their hearts out about life and what has to become
But suddenly, it became midnight and one of them woke up
From a dream that was none other than reality, and was only painted in the heads of the owner
The girl cried silent tears
as the stranger in the dream was no other than the particular person
who is near but so far away to reach at the same time
But no matter, the girl held her head up high,
For life is too short to be cried over,
The dream was a perfect remedy for her broken soul
To stop her from remeniscing something she couldn't reach
The midsummer dream was a dream that had awoken her from her fantasies
That not every heart's desire comes true
It was a midsummer dream which had brought her pain but also joy of caring for someone
dearly.

Heyya guys. Just a little something for the broken heart. No, I'm not depressed, but I wrote this when I had a beautiful dream, but somehow the person is unreachable and I know it won't ever come true. Haha. Well, off to bed.
