okay, getting to part 2. The Career Day.
So, as i've told you in Part 1, we finished everything at 7.30 in the morning, which is ridiculous, i know.
so, with empty stomaches and butterfly's fluttering in our stomach's we got ready for the competition.
we memorized the theme and sorts.
when we entered the English Lab, I readied my laptop.
then, suddenly, the emcee told us that we have to use the computer at the front.
as the host, we agreed. i transferred the video and the slide into the computer and tested the audio.
it was fine, really. and i was glad. i tested it twice.
but, little did we know, what is going to happen to us.
we took our number, and we were the seventh out of ten groups to present our slide.
so, we saw SEMASHUR'S, KISAS'S, SAS'S, SESERI'S, BASIS'S, then the KUSES. before the KUSES started with their presentation, they said to us,
"Kitaorang punya biasa je, Sumpah, mesti korang akan gain the confidence to do the presentation after looking at ours."
as usual, we only smiled and said that, i don't think it won't be like that.
Allah knows best, after their presentation,
we were up next.
when i opened the slide, i was gobsmacked when i saw the fonts could not be read by the computer.
almost cried, but i held my composure and we get on with our slideshow.
after that, i tried playing the video, but sadly, the audio didn't come out.
frustated and edgy, i tried to fix it with the help of iqa iman, but, we continued with the presentation, without the original audio, but replaced with Lubna's voice
only Allah knows how we felt at that time.
and, when later, during the closing ceremony, when they were announcing the winners, sadly, we didn'y get a placing. it was frustrating and we didn't talk about it after that.
yes, Allah knows best. maybe, it wasn't our rezeki, but i gained something from everything that had happened.
i got closer with my friends, got to meet new people, and learn how to handle certain situations.
yes, everything happens for a reason.
and there's a reason why Allah didn't let us win.
we got through this awesome adventure and i got to meet a pilot.
that's cool enough right?
but, just remember, whatever happens, never give up. make it as a booster to rise from the fall. :)
