I always liked studying History. Why? Is because I can get to know, who I should be siding with. History thought me that peace cannot be obtained easily and i shuddered when i learnt that many lives died in order to give this country freedom. I absolutely despise people who talk bad abput patriots. I'm frustated to a point that I just want to people to be thankful that we're not in war everyday. We don't have to be afraid of flights hovering with boms, scarce food and diseases. Humans are never thankful for what they have. When they get something, they want more and thats when the bad things stars to influence you.
I just want people to open their eyes and see that we're living in peace and harmony. We can still go out and eat. We can still tslk to people. Truthfully, i'm already thankful to The Almighty that I can study in peace. I can walk without being afraid. I can talk to people around me.
Open your eyes, and see what life has to offer. Don't just judge and criticize. Its not even helping at all. Every single time i watch Tanda Putera or any other patriotic movies, i'll cry my eyes out no matter how many times i watched it. I don't want our country to be like that. Heck, i don't want any other countries to suffer like that anymore. At one point, the human race would become what they write in novels, that the hierarchy will become so important that human race will start to get extinct.
Its true what George Santayana always say, The ones who doesnt study history, will tend to make the mistake over and over again. I don't want history to repeat itself. I don't want people to be killed any longer over a war that doesn't actually benefit anyone.
I'm no God. I'm just a normal human being that Allah has given me the chance to live in this place called Mother Earth. Peace cannot be obtained easily, but appreciate the peace that God has offered you.
