Have you ever wondered why houses are made with lots of types? Well, it's simple really. It's because every human being has different tastes in houses. Some people like it big and some people like it small. To choose a place for you to live in for an amount of time, is never an easy task. We would have to look before we leap. We have to think about the space, the cost of the house, the speciality of the house, and the residential area. We would have to think carefully before choosing the house.
After carefully considering the two options of the house that is available, I have to agree with my husband to choose the terrace house in Vision Homes than the condominium in Taman Bintang. The place would be more suitable for my whole family which has a total of seven members including myself. Although the price of the house is higher than the condominium, it is worth the price as the house has a bigger space than the condominium. For the payment, we could pay by monthly installments as we had called in the estate agents to ask about it. It would be enough as my husband and I earn more than RM 10,000 per month. If we share half of our salary, we could finish paying for the house in a year's time. By doing that, we would not have to owe people money.
As my family has a total of seven members, we have our own needs and our house has to be near to a grocery shop as I like to shop for vegetables and our dairy's every morning. It would be convenient for me if I were to buy this house as the house is situated near to the row of shops. After a short visit to the shops there, I found out that there are a few branded shops like Gucchi and Giordano. There is also a supermarket nearby and the bakery is situated next to the supermarket. As my family also likes fresh bread for breakfast, I could go and buy it without burdening myself to drive a car. I could just walk to the bakery, and it could burn my calories as it can be a form of exercise for me. The house is also near to my children's school. It would also be a convenient for me as I would not have to wake up early in the morning to send them to school and rush to work.
To create a greater bond, we should have a comfortable space to live in. With a total of 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in the house, I think it would be enough for my family to live comfortably. As most of my children have gone to college, the only one's left are my two daughters and they could share the backroom among themselves. For my husband and I , we would have the masterbedroom as a place for us to spend our time together. From my short visit to the house the other day, I found out that the living room has a big space and it can be filled with our moments together as a family. The house has a two-part kitchen, which is the wet and the dry kitchen. Having a kitchen with two parts would be convenient for me as I would like my work to be done in a proper manner.
As for the house compound, the house has a big yard and a garden at the back of the house. The house has a porch and a veranda which we could spend our time together as a whole family. During the weekends, my children could do their homework at the veranda and I could start back on my hobby planting roses at the garden. As the yard has some big open space, my husband and I have agreed to hire an architect and a contractor to make a mini pool and a small man-made waterfall at the side of the pool. The pool would be covered with a roof and a wall so that it would be comfortable for the whole family to take a swim in the evenings.
Lastly, with the short visit I made checking on the house, I found out that the residential area has a quiet and a tranquil surrounding. The neighbours seems fine and the residential area has a playground and a jogging track which can be used by the residents living there. The residential area has also a regular bus service; and my children would not have to wait for me to bring them to go out as they could take a bus to town.
In conclusion, I think I had made the right choice for choosing this terrace house as a place for my family to spend our lives in. With the right surroundings and the affordable price, I think it is a worth paying house. I hope that, with this house, our bond as a family would become greater and we could live happily ever after in this house.
